Introduction

Written by acclaimed promoter and vintage DJ Jean-Paul Séculaire, the London Dossier is an unapologetically personal guide to all that is cool in the UK's capital city.

The site is aimed at both Londoners and visitors alike. Here, fans of vintage black music can discover London's nightlife and where to buy that elusive dusty vinyl, espressoists can read about London's café culture, dandies can find out where to buy the sharpest threads and film buffs can find information about London's independent cinemas. On top of this there are dozens of other useful and interesting links: from bars and pubs to modern art, and more besides. In short, this is the ultimate London hipster's lifestyle guide.

Inspired by Len Deighton's 1967 book of the same name, Jean-Paul's Séculaire's London Dossier brings the concept of the “alternative guidebook” into the 21st century, with a website designed to provide accurate and useful information about London's ever more rapidly changing scene.
